Terms of Service
Access Business Centre is a provider of office services.
Clients obtain centre services via signed Service Agreement.
There are no leases or subleases, and no rent is paid or collected.
All documents are written in plain English.
Private Full-Time Office Service
- Office accessible 24/7/365.
- No overnight accommodation nor residence of any kind.
- Suitable for business of an office nature only.
- Not suitable for retail, medical, or business involving frequent visits by members of the public.
- No parking on building property. Free municipal parking available across Yonge Street.
- Client responsible for maintaining the centre's Health & Safety Policy.
- Monthly service begins upon payment of first month's service fees plus a security deposit/service retainer equal to one month's total service fees including taxes.
- Service proceeds monthly.
- Two months notice required to cancel service.
- Security deposit/service retainer returned to client at end of service term after inspection.
- $100 (no tax) refundable deposit per key set required.
Elective Service Fees
- Meeting Rooms: $25+HST per additional hour.
- Copy/Print: $0.15 black, $0.40 colour per additional page.
Meeting Room Rentals
- Reservations are taken on a first-come first-served basis.
- Centre staff must receive booking request in advance and client must receive confirmation. Notice then issued to other centre users.
- Minimum billing is one hour; usage then charged in half hour increments.
- No expiry and no refunds on 10 Hour Discount Package.
Virtual Office Service
- Monthly service begins upon payment of first month's service fees plus a security deposit/service retainer equal to one month's total service fees including taxes.
- Service proceeds monthly.
- One month notice required to cancel service.
- Security deposit/service retainer applied to final month of service.
- Monthly included meeting room usage is non-cumulative.
- Monthly included document centre usage is non-cumulative.
Elective Service Fees
- Meeting Rooms: $25+HST per additional hour.
- Copy/Print: $0.15 black per additional page.
Business Address Service
- Single suite number issued per account.
- Monthly service begins upon payment of first month's service fees plus a security deposit/service retainer equal to one month's total service fees including taxes.
- Service proceeds monthly.
- One month notice required to cancel service.
- Security deposit/service retainer applied to final month of service.
- Fraud Prevention: one company name/personal name per suite number for legal reasons.
Centre Policies
Access to Building
- Controlled access with electronic lock at main entrance.
- Open to General Public: Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Access to Facility
- Open to all visitors during staffed service hours (see below).
- Restricted during unstaffed hours.
- 24/7/365 extended access service available.
Billing Procedures
- Monthly billing statements issued to all clients on the 25th of every month.
- Payments for all services due by the 1st of every month.
Emergency Service
- Facility and service concerns addressed within 24 hours when unstaffed, promptly when staffed, pending nature of incident and availability of qualified service provider.
Health & Safety
- Comprehensive policy enforced 24/7 by centre staff.
- Visitor volume controlled through scheduling policy.
- Clients responsible for scheduling all guest visits.
- Clients responsible for screening of all guests before centre visit.
Open to General Public
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Parking
- No parking on building property.
- Pick up and drop off only.
- Towaway enforcement by property management 24/7/365.
- Free municipal parking available across Yonge Street.
- Secure underground parking spot (24/7/365) for $100+HST monthly.
Payment Types + Terms
- Service fees are payable via cheque and Interac eTransfer.
Security
- Controlled access to building and centre facility.
- Security cameras actively monitored in all building public spaces.
- Live security cameras in all shared centre spaces (excluding private meeting rooms).
Staffed Service
- Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 5:30pm
